WandaVision is an American television miniseries of the superhero fantasy and situation comedy genres. It is based on characters featured in Marvel Comics titles and is part of the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe. The nine-part series premiered on Disney+ on January 15th, 2021. WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff with Paul Bettany reprising the role of the Vision. Other returning MCU notables include Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo. Teyonah Parris plays Monica Rambeau, who was last seen as a child in Captain Marvel. Wanda Maximoff and the Vision are living the ideal suburban life in the town of Westview, trying to conceal their powers. But as they begin to enter new decades and encounter television tropes, the couple suspects that things are not as they seem.

- WandaVision was created by Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Matt Shakman, and Jac Schaeffer. Shakman served as head writer on the series.
- Wanda Maximoff was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. She first appeared in The X-Men, Volume 1 #4 in March, 1964 in a story called "The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants!".
- The Vision was created by writer Roy Thomas and artists John Buscema, Marie Severin and George Klein. He first appeared in Avengers, Volume 1 #57 in October, 1968 in a story titled "Behold... the Vision!".
- WandaVision is the first Marvel Cinematic Universe project released in 2021.
- This is the first canonical Marvel Cinematic Universe spin-off series and the first live-action MCU series to air on Disney+. Since the formation of the Disney+ streaming format, previous shows such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, and the Netflix programs like Daredevil and Jessica Jones are no longer considered canon.
- Wanda Maximoff appeared last in Avengers: Endgame.
- The Vision appeared last in Avengers: Infinity War, where he was destroyed by Thanos.
