Victor Jay Garber is a Canadian television actor born in London, Ontario, Canada on March 16th, 1949. From 2001-2006 he played secret agent Jack Bristow - father to Sydney Bristow on the J.J. Abrams spy series Alias. Following the discontinuation of the series, Garber took the leading role of celebrity defense attorney Ron Trott in the short-lived legal drama Justice. Garber went on to play another straight-laced barrister in Eli Stone where he played the eponymous character's would-be father-in-law Jordan Wethersby. In 2011, Victor lent his voice to the character of enigmatic P.I. firm consultant Charlie Townsend in the short-lived remake of Charlie's Angels - a role originally made famous by John Forsythe in the original Charlie's Angels.
