The Michael J. Fox Show is a television series that began airing on NBC on September 26th, 2013. The series was developed by executive producer/writer Sam Laybourne, and executive producer/director Will Gluck. The plot revolves around main character Mike Henry, formerly one of New York's most beloved news anchors, who puts his career on hold to spend more time with his family and focus on his health after he is diagnosed with Parkinson's. Now, five years later, with the kids busy growing up and Mike growing restless his family decides to plant the seed of his return to broadcasting by surreptitiously arranging for him to "bump into" his old boss in order to get the wheels turning (and allow Mike to think it was his idea).


Michael "Mike" Henry: A former news anchor diagnosed with Parkinson's disease who, five years later, decides to get back to work.

Annie Henry: Mike's wife.

Eve Henry: Mike's daughter.

Ian Henry: Mike's eldest son.

Graham Henry: Mike's youngest son.

Leigh Henry: Mike's sister.

Harris Green: Mike's boss.
