"Identity Crisis" is the ninth episode of season one of the supernaturally-themed drama series The Gates. It was directed by Steve Miner and written by Scott Nimerfro. The episode first aired on ABC on Sunday, August 22nd, 2010. In this episode, the dark secrecy surrounding The Gates is nearly compromised when an FBI agent named Kat Russo comes to town searching for a criminal who may be taking refuge inside the community. Meanwhile, Lexie Wade takes advantage of the recent break-up between Charlie Monohan and Andie Bates and sets her sights on Charlie. Brett Crezski also sees an opportunity to patch things up with Andie and is willing to do anything he can to help satiate her demonic hunger.
