Rockne S. O'Bannon is an American film and television producer and screenwriter born in Los Angeles, California on January 12th, 1955. He played a pivotal role in the development of two successful franchises, Alien Nation and Farscape. He got his start in science fiction writing episodes for the 1985 incarnation of The Twilight Zone.
