Morticia Addams is a fictional housewife and a main character featured in The Addams Family television series, which aired on ABC from 1964 to 1966. She was played by actress Carolyn Jones in the series. The character was re-imagined for the feature film series of the 1990s where she was played by actress Anjelica Huston. An alternate version of Morticia appeared as a guest star in the Netflix streaming series Wednesday in 2022. Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones played Morticia in the series.

  • Morticia Addams was patterned after Charles Addams' first wife, Barbara Day, a model whom Charles married in 1943 and divorced in 1953.
  • Another character named Morticia appeared in the 2006 direct-to-video film Monster Night. She was played by South African film and television actress Musetta Vander.
