Michael J. Fox is a Canadian film and television actor. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 9th, 1961. With a career spanning more than three decades, Michael J. Fox has played several memorable and iconic characters on both the big and small screen. On TV, he is best known for playing teeange Reaganite Alex P. Keaton on the 1982-1989 sitcom series Family Ties. From 1996 to 2002, Michael had the starring role of politician Mike Flaherty in the comedy show Spin City. Fox also served as executive producer on the series. He has also appeared in several episodes of the legal drama/comedy Boston Legal and the medical comedy Scrubs. Beginning in 2010, Michael had a recurring role on The Good Wife playing Louis Canning.
