"The Lone Ranger Fights On" is the second episode of season one of the Western adventure series The Lone Ranger. It was written and directed by George B. Seitz, Jr. based on concepts originally developed by Fran Striker. It first aired on ABC on September 22nd, 1949. This episode reveals the origin of the Lone Ranger's trusted steed, Silver, and also establishes the character's connection towards using silver bullets.

- The origin of Silver is revealed in this episode. First appearance. Silver belonged to Hudkin Bros and was stabled at their ranch in Burbank (now Forest Lawn Cemetery), then later in North Hollywood. Silver was trained by horse trainer Glenn Randall, Sr. [1]
