"The Legion of Old Timers" is the fourth episode of season one of the Western adventure series The Lone Ranger. It was directed by George B. Seitz, Jr. and written by Tom Seller based on concepts originally developed by Fran Striker. It first aired on ABC on October 6th, 1949. In this episode, the Lone Ranger and Tonto, along with their friend Banty Bishop, aid a ranch owner named Bob Kittredge who is being blackmailed into selling his ranch by an unscrupulous man named Red Devers.
