"Pete and Pedro" is the seventh episode of season one of the Western adventure series The Lone Ranger. It was directed by George B. Seitz, Jr. and written by Tom Seller based on concepts originally developed by Fran Striker. It first aired on ABC on October 27th, 1949. In this episode, Pete and Pedro are two friends who are very lazy and don't like working. The Lone Ranger convinces them to assist a young woman in danger of losing her ranch.

- This is the third episode of The Lone Ranger written by Tom Seller. He also wrote "The Legion of Old Timers" and "Rustler's Hideout".
- First professional acting work for Don Diamond. He later portrayed Corporal Reyes on Disney's TV series Zorro starring Guy Williams who portrayed Sheriff William Harrington in the 1955 episode "Six-Gun Artist". Diamond's role of Reyes was the second Spanish non-commissioned soldier of the cuartel alongside Sergeant Garcia (Henry Calvin).
