The series began airing on Turner Network Television (TNT) on December 7th , 2008 . The show boasts a regular recurring cast of five actors which includes Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge. Leverage follows a five-person team: a thief, a grifter, a hacker and a retrieval specialist, headed up by former insurance investigator Nathan Ford, who use their skills to right corporate and governmental injustices inflicted on ordinary citizens.
