Killing Eve is a British television series of the spy-thriller genre. It was created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. and Endeavor Content. It began airing on BBC America on April 8th, 2018. Actress Sandra Oh stars as Eve Polastri - an Asian American living in London, who works as an assistant analyst for MI6. Through various circumstances, she finds herself promoted into the role of a lead investigator for a special top secret detachment, whose function is to track down the international assassin code-named "Villanelle", played by Jodie Comer. What begins as a murder investigation becomes a game of cat and mouse on the world stage as Eve becomes obsessed with hunting down Villanelle, while Villanelle likewise enjoys the rush of being hunted. As each one undergoes their own personal journey of self-discovery, they come to discover that they are more alike than either one would care to admit.
