- Despite being married to Jack Hodgins, Angela still goes by her maiden name.
- Billy Gibbons plays the role of Jack's father-in-law on Bones. Gibbons is a rock and roll guitarist and singer and 1/3rd of the group ZZ Top. Gibbons plays himself in the series, though his relationship to Thyne's character is naturally fictionalized.
- Actor TJ Thyne has also appeared on three episodes of Angel, which starred Bones colleague David Boreanaz. He played a lawyer and an employee in the episodes "Conviction", "Life of the Party" and "Your're Welcome".
