Constable Benton Fraser of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police transfers from Canada to Chicago, Illinois to investigate the alleged murder of his father. Bringing along his white wolf dog, Diefenbaker, he partners up with Detective David Marciano, and later, Detective Stanley Ray Kowalski.
