Identity is a British television programme of the police crime procedural subgenre. It was created by Ed Whitmore and produced by ITV Studios. The show ran for a single series from April-June, 2010 on ITV1 and consisted of six one-hour episodes. Identity starred Aidan Gillen as DI John Bloom, Keeley Hawes as DSI Martha Lawson, Holly Aird as Tessa Stein, Elyes Gabel as DC Jose Rodriguez, Shaun Parkes as DS Anthony Wareing and Agni Scott as Adile Kemal.

Three episodes of the series were directed by Brendan Maher, with the remaining three directed by Andy Hay. Creator Ed Whitmore wrote the story treatments and scripts for all six episodes with Edward Bennett taking up the primary writing duties for the episodes "Reparation" and "Somewhere They Can't Find Me". The series was produced by Ed Whitmore, Kate Bartlett and Lachlan MacKinnon.
