Gul Dukat is a fictional alien in the Star Trek television franchise and a recurring antagonist in the 1993-1999 television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He is played by actor Marc Alaimo and was introduced in the series' pilot episode, "Emissary". The character made thirty-five appearances in the series in total, including the series finale, "What You Leave Behind". Outside of the television series, Gul Dukat has also been featured in numerous novels, comic books and video games relating to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
