Grant Bowler is a television actor born in Auckland, New Zealand on July 18th, 1968. He has made recurring appearances on several Australian television programs beginning with the police drama soap opera Blue Heelers where he played Constable Wayne Patterson in ninety-six episodes. He then went on to play Doctor Arch on the TV show Adrenalin Junkies. In 1999, Grant Bowler donned some red greasepaint to play an alien shaman named Liko in the "That Old Black Magic" episode of Farscape. In 2002 he played Mark Waters in another Australian soap opera Something in the Air. He appeared in twenty-six episodes of the series. He played Nigel MacPherson in twenty episodes of All Saints.

Grant Bowler's US credits include episodes of Lost where he played Captain Gault, seventeen episodes of the dramedy series Ugly Betty where he portrayed Connor Owens and seven episodes of True Blood where he played werewolf pack leader Cooter Johnson
