George Archainbaud was a French film and television director. He was born in Paris, France on May 7th, 1890 and passed away in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California on February 20th, 1959 at the age of 68. George was a veteran of the silent film era with a career spanning back to 1918. He got into TV work in the early days of the industry beginning with his work on the celebrated western adventure series The Lone Ranger. George directed fourteen episodes of the show between 1949 and 1950.
