Notes & Trivia[]
- The character of Eugene Tooms was created by director Harry Longstreet and writers Glen Morgan and James Wong based upon concepts developed by Chris Carter.
- Another cannibal serial killer of note was Jason Harkness, who appeared in "The Widow's Son in the Windshield" episode of Bones. Whereas Tooms was a genetic mutation, Harkness was but an acolyte of a more prominent serial killer known as the Gormagon.
