Emily Deschanel is an American film and television actress born in Los Angeles, California on October 11th, 1976. She is best known for playing the role of forensics anthropologist Doctor Temperance Brennan on the FOX Network television series Bones. Beginning in 2007, Deschanel became a co-producer on the series beginning with the season three premiere, "The Widow's Son in the Windshield".
