Dollhouse is an American science fiction/drama series created and produced by Joss Whedon under his production company Mutant Enemy Productions. The show was broadcast on the Fox Network from July 28th, 2009 to January 29th, 2010. The series aired on Friday evenings and lasted two seasons. Season one was twelve episodes long, plus a pilot episode. Season two had thirteen episodes. The series starred former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Eliza Dushku as Echo, an agent of "doll" for an agency that hired out individuals to assume new identities and personalities for a variety of purposes.
In addition to Dushku, who also worked as a producer on the series, the principal cast of the show consisted of Harry Lennix as Boyd Langton, Fran Kranz as Topher Brink, Tahmoh Penikett as Paul Ballard, Enver Gjokaj as Anthony Cecoli, Dichen Lachman as Priya "Sierra" Tsetsang and Olivia Williams as Adelle DeWitt. All of the season one regulars reprised their roles for season two. Supporting guest stars on Dollhouse included Amy Acker (Angel), Miracle Laurie, Reed Diamond and Liza Lapira.

Notes & Trivia[]
- Season one enjoyed strong viewership on online services and digital video recordings despite receiving poor ratings. Viewership was strong enough that FOX decided to give the show another shot and booked a second season block of thirteen episodes.
- Season two of Dollhouse moved from being shot on 35 mm film to high-definition video.
- Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas were brought on as consulting producers for season two.
- Tim Minear went from being a consulting producer on season one to an executive producer for season two.
- Lisa Wiegand became the director of photography for season two.
