  • Charmed was created by Constance M. Burge. The series aired on the WB Network for eight seasons, totaling 179 episodes. The premise of the show revolved around three sisters, and later a half-sister, who discovered that they had inherited the power of witchcraft. Working together, the so-called "Charmed Ones" fought up against the forces of evil, which took the form of demons, warlocks, and strange entities from another dimension, while working in tandem with an organization of guardian angels known as Whitelighters.
  • In broadcasts in other countries, this episode has also been titled "The Perfect Man".

  • The title of this episode is taken from Prince Charming, who is a fairy tale figure that is meant to epitomize the perfect male. He is often cast in the romantic male lead opposite a princess character, who is usually the main focus of the tale. Prince Charming was the hero of the 1959 animated film version of Sleeping Beauty by Walt Disney Productions.
  • "Mister Right" was given the name David. He was named for David Donoho, who was married to Holly Marie Combs at the time of production.
