Overview[]
Caroline Compton was the wife of Bill Compton and lived with him at the Compton residence in Bon Temps, Louisiana in the mid-19th century. They had two children, Thomas and Sarah. When Bill Compton went off to serve in the Confederacy during the American Civil War, Caroline stayed at home with the children. Bill failed to return after the war, and Caroline gave him up for dead. Young Thomas fell ill with the pox and died at their home soon after. Bill returned home, but was now a vampire. When he revealed himself to Caroline, she grew hysterical and tried to drive him away with a shotgun. Bill's maker, Lorena Krasiki glamored Caroline into calming down and forgetting the events.
Notes & Trivia[]
