"The Wail of the Siren" is the third episode of season three of the original Batman live-action television series and the ninety-seventh episode of the series overall. It was directed by george waGGner [sic] with a script written by Stanley Ralph Ross. It first aired on ABC on Thursday, September 28th, 1967.
Actress Ethel Merman is uncredited for her role as Lola Lasagne in this episode.
Robin is dumb. He didn't know what the Batcomputer Batresistance signal was even though there is clearly a sign above it that reads "Batcomputer Batresistance signal".
Commissioner Gordon susses out for himself that Batman and Robin are actually Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. This is the most intelligence the character has ever displayed on the show ever.

Alfred makes reference to Morpheus in this episode. Morpheus is the Greek God of sleep and dreaming. He is also the name of a DC Comics character known as Dream.

Batman quotes the line "All's well that ends well", which is the name of a play written by William Shakespeare.
Batman: Well, that's the Batcomputer's Bat-resistance signal. Of course it doesn't understand our question about Commissioner Gordon. It can't answer it. Commissioner Gordon represents law and order. The Batcomputer is programmed to deal only with criminals!
