"The Wail of the Siren" is the third episode of season three of the original Batman live-action television series and the ninety-seventh episode of the series overall.   • Actress Yvonne Craig receives an "And Yvonne Craig as "Batgirl" credit in the opening of this episode.
  • Actress Joan Collins is credited as "Special Guest Villainess" in this episode.

  • Robin is dumb. He didn't know what the Batcomputer Batresistance signal was even though there is clearly a sign above it that reads "Batcomputer Batresistance signal".

  • The paintings in Siren's grotto are of Mata Hari, Lucretia Borgia, and Lady MacBeth.
  • Reference is made to Catwoman and Black Widow in this episode. At this time, both villains are in prison.
  • Alfred makes reference to Morpheus in this episode. Morpheus is the Greek God of sleep and dreaming. He is also the name of a DC Comics character known as Dream.
