Automan is an American television series of the science fiction and superhero fantasy genres. The series was created by Glen A. Larson and produced by 20th Century Fox Television. It aired for only one season on ABC from December 1983 to April 1984, spanning a total of twelve broadcast episodes and one unaired episode. The series starred Desi Arnaz, Jr. as computer whiz police officer Walter Nebicher with Chuck Wagner as the eponymous digitized superhero Automan. Other billed cast members include Heather McNair as Roxanne Caldwell, Gerald S. O'Loughlin as Captain E.G. Boyd and Robert Lansing as Lieutenant Jack Curtis.

- Automan aired at 8:00 pm on Thursday evenings in the United States and on Friday evenings in the United Kingdom.
- All thirteen episodes of the series have been made available on the Automan: The Complete Series DVD collection, which was released in both Region 1 (US/CAN) format and Region 2 (UK) format.
- Series creator Glen A. Larson is also known for creating the Battlestar Galactica multimedia franchise.
- The digital effects for the Automan hologram were largely inspired by the 1982 Walt Disney Company film TRON.
