- Despite being married to Jack Hodgins, Angela still goes by her maiden name.
- Billy Gibbons plays the role of Angela's father on Bones. Gibbons is a rock and roll guitarist and singer and 1/3rd of the group ZZ Top. Gibbons plays himself in the series, though his relationship to Michaela's character is naturally fictionalized.
