American Crime Story is an American television anthology series that involves true crime stories. The show was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk and produced by Ryan Murphy Productions, Scott & Larry Productions, and Color Force. It first began airing on the FX Network on February 2nd, 2016.
Season one of the series was billed under the subtitle, "The People vs. O.J. Simpson". It chronicled the 1994 slaying of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman by Brown's ex-husband, former NFL super-star Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson. The crime became one of the most sensationalized and documented criminal trials of all time. The first season aired for ten episodes from February 2nd, 2016 to April 5th, 2016.
